LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 5, 2008) – Members of preAMP+ and more than 100 volunteers will peacefully convene at the corner of LaBrea Blvd. and Santa Monica Blvd. on Friday, August 8, 2008 at 6 p.m. Armed with art poster signs bearing positive messages, the group hopes to create and exhibit a positive vibration that will be felt throughout the city. The demonstration will serve as both an act of metaphysical activism and a street art installation.
"At preAMP+ we choose to produce work that focuses on restoring human wholeness," said Sonny Coates, founder. "We want to make it known that you can change your life for the better regardless of your circumstances. You just have to be armed with the knowledge that if you're willing to work, it's impossible not to see dramatic and satisfactory life changes."
The primary goals of the 'Vibe Demonstration' are to broadcast a message of spiritual and mental awareness, and emphasize individuals' global responsibility as vibratory beings in the creation of a better world by consciously choosing to entertain positive thoughts. After the event, volunteers will post the signs utilized during the demonstration throughout the Los Angeles area to further spread their message.
"By the wind that's blowing, it's evident that mankind is ready to expand even deeper into a worldview that is willing to accept more of itself, and understand the inner-workings of his spiritual instrument and all the wonderful creative possibilities that lie within," said Coates.
preAMP+ was founded on the shared ideal of service through effecting the local community and larger global community by creating events, and media that serve to challenge the way citizens think and participate in society, socially and individually. The organization has produced several short films and music works in preparation for larger releases in 2009. The 'Vibe Demonstration' is the group's first public service event.
